Ensuring the health and wellness of children through regular health screenings and nutritional support.
At Mansha Society, we believe that a healthy childhood lays the foundation for a bright future. Our child healthcare initiative focuses on promoting the physical and nutritional well-being of children, especially in marginalized communities. We conduct regular health camps in government schools and slums that include general check-ups, dental screenings, vision tests, and nutrition assessments. Children found to be undernourished or anaemic are provided with supplementary nutrition kits and referred for further medical care. In collaboration with healthcare professionals, we spread awareness about hygiene, sanitation, and the importance of vaccinations. These efforts not only reduce health disparities but also improve school attendance and overall development in children.
Programme Details:
School Health Checkups: Regular pediatric, eye, and dental checkups in low-income and government schools.
Growth Monitoring: Track the growth of children aged 0–14 to identify undernutrition or health issues early.
Nutrition Supplementation: Distribute healthy food kits, iron tablets, and protein powder to malnourished children.
Vaccination Awareness: Educate parents on government vaccination schedules and the importance of immunization.
